I really loved the Takumi Sen 9, the previous model, except for the upper - which tore up earlier than expected (less than 300 km). Here, in the Takumi Sen 10, the upper was improved, hopefully in durability as well (TBD). However, I feel like the midsole gotten a bit stiffer in the 10 version, which for me feels less enjoyable. On the other hand the energy-rods 2.0, which go full length here, adds a "pop" in energy return. From a few workouts and a 5km race, it is still a banger 5-10 km racer and speedy workouts shoe.
